Many believe that a closer shave with a fresh, sharp blade is what causes irritation, but in reality, using an old or dull blade requires more passes over the skin. This increases friction and pressure, which can lead to more noticeable razor burn and irritation.




Shave in the direction that the hair grows (with the grain), not against it. Although shaving against the grain might tempt many with the prospect of a closer shave, this method is more likely to cut the hair below the skin surface. While initially it appears smoother, this can lead to ingrown hairs, where curls grow back into the skin, causing inflammation, red bumps, and discomfort. 		Shaving Tips
